Decided to order these because of severe depression and an unwillingness to go the anti depressant route again. Within 1 dose, significant changes were noticed! I feel lighter, less social anxiety, more grounded. It’s still early but I just ordered more so I can have a solid run of microdosing to see the long term effects. Also the product shipped quick and was packaged well!

This is a great product with varying effects. 1 cap. Had good energy boost and greatly reduced arthritic pain. 2 cap was a nice trip without being overwhelming. 3 was a crazy trip for me, don’t recommend doing it alone. Colour and sound greatly enhanced and could feel the colours moving through my body.. was a neat experience.

I find that supplements like these are difficult to determine the benefit objectively from a home setting, so we have to trust the scientific studies and testing of ingredients to make sure they are the same as reported in those studies as being truly beneficial. This supplement gets AHCC (active hexose correlated compound) from mushrooms (typically shiitake) and is used in traditional Chinese medicine. The packaging states that the formulation is backed by over 30 clinical studies, but I was not able to find links to those studies from Shii. Going to WebMD and looking up AHCC, they describe AHCC is being taken to help with helping the liver, prevent diabetes, and help fight off cancer, but there is currently no good scientific evidence to support these uses (I am not surprised by this as it seems rather common that natural occurring and plant based chemicals aren’t as studied as human made pharmaceuticals).
The supplement comes as a light brown powder in a cellulose capsule. The capsules come in a foil lined and resealable bag to help keep them fresh. There are only 20 capsules in a bag, and with 2 capsules per serving, there are 10 servings per bag. The capsules are free of gluten, dairy, and sugar, and are vegan. It is stated that the ingredients are high quality, but I was not able to find any form of testing (third party or otherwise, to show the quality/purity of the ingredients). There is a lot number and expiration date printed on the back of the bottle. There is also a QR code on the back of the bottle, but it is incredibly small (good luck trying to read it with your phone) and should like to more information, but all I was able to get to was a blank link page that wanted me to register some cookies.
For me, I didn’t have any negative affects from taking this supplement. I can’t say for certain if this helped my immune system, but if the limited information available from studies and research is accurate and true, then it should have helped my immune system health improve. As far as I can tell, this supplement does seem to be of good quality, but I can’t prove it other than my experience with it. The price is a bit too steep for me, but I will leave it up to you if you feel it is worth it.
